XXL Square Wood SetupUpdated 21 days ago
Thank you for your purchase of the new Infinite Objects XXL Square Wood display!
If the unit you ordered is of a specific Custom Art piece and requires a WiFi connection, below you can will find the steps to connect it to your local network. This should only need to be configured one time, unless your network information changes (or, for example, you move locations).
Once your WiFi settings are configured, the unit will automatically connect to that network and load the pre-installed URL endpoint of the artwork upon subsequent power cycles / reboots.
To configure your network WiFi settings:
Step 1
Power your unit with the included power supply cable. The unit will automatically turn on (and stay on) when connected to power. If the unit has never been connected to WiFi, it will automatically go into "configuration mode" and display the instructions seen in Step 2. If it has been previously connected to an available WiFi network, it will automatically re-connect to that network and begin displaying your artwork.
Step 2
Follow the on-screen instructions to first connect to the unit and then connect to WiFi. Use a mobile device to scan the first QR code to connect to the device via WiFi. If connecting via QR scan does not work, you can connect to your device manually by connecting to it's WiFi:
- Network: IOXXL-FFFF ('FFFF' being unique UUID of your device)
- Password: infinite (lowercase)
Step 3
Next, scan the second QR code on the setup screen. This will automatically launch your phone's browser and load a WiFi Settings configuration screen for your unit.
You can also manually access this by opening a browser on your phone and navigating to: http://ioxxl.local
Step 4
In the page that loads there will be a field for entering your home/office WiFi network name (SSID) and password. Enter both in the text boxes and tap the Connect button.
And that's it!
Your device will now save these settings and then reboot itself. Upon reboot it will connect to your WiFi network and begin showing the piece that has come pre-configured to point to.
