My unit won't power onUpdated 21 days ago

If your unit isn't turning on when connecting the mag-safe power cable, on rare occasion this can be a result of "bent pin". This can be easily corrected using a pair of tweezers.

First, identify whether or not you can observe that your charging port does have 1 or more bent pins. Here are 2 examples of what that can look like:

For power to flow to flow to the unit, all pins must be aligned. To correct this:

1. Ensure your unit is powered off. If it is currently playing video, then let the battery fully discharge by simply waiting a maximum of 2 hours. 
2. Once it is powered off, use a pair of standard tweezers to gently but firmly press the misaligned pin back into place. All pins should be in the same position across the connector for the power to work.

And that's it. Your unit should now function properly.
